Eurgh

Had the most convoluted and weirdest dream - you'd think it was a full moon or something! The part I most clearly remember was that [livejournal.com profile] serenitysangel and I and a male we knew somehow got the opportunity to visit John Barrowman at his home. Now it was like a huge mansion, labyrinthine and built directly next to/together with a museum for... something. Not natural history, but something in that direction. So we were chatting for a while in the huge kitchen, I think, and then when we got up because we were supposed to leave he asked, "Would you like me to give you a tour?" And I was all, "Yay, I was just thinking it would be great to see the rest of the house!" So off we went, and the next thing I remember is climbing up the ladder to a high bed (is that what you call them?) and falling asleep in there. Now I had the distinct feeling that this was John&Scott's bedroom, but it could't have been their bed because it was too narrow for two. Anyway, I then woke up and was all "Huh, where is everyone?" I went outside and I think I saw the others sit in the kitchen which I could just see from the corridor, but I went another direction to see more (seems I dropped off in the middle of the tour) and then I realised I had ended up in the museum - like there weren't walls or doors between it and John's house! I remember thinking not remembering clearly which way I had come and that I should hurry, before my friends left, so I might have to go outside and ring John's doorbell. And then I woke up, briefly. I think that was 5:46. Dreamed some more, woke up 8:30ish again, then dreamed some more, including being "at home" and me and my sister - ? - sleeping in "our" room when a guy, something like a policeman or customs officer, but not uniformed from what I remember, turned up to go through our wardrobe, and then he asked where my brothers slept (huh, I only have one) so he could go rummage around their stuff too. The last thing I remember is that it somehow came back to John again, before the alarm went off at 9:55. o_O

Now I'm totally shattered, and unfortunately I have to go to work (new job). Thank goodness only in the afternoon. I wouldn't normally be there on Mondays at all yet, but my predecessor is here this week for a more in-depth introduction to my duties. I'll compensate that extra half day when I have to be at my (old job) intern's oral examination in June.

Right. Tea, get dressed, post office, shop, lunch, work. Ugh.
