Let's see. When I first found the online Lord of the Rings fandom on Yahoo, I wanted a hobbity name that belonged to someone who knew and loved the hobbit protagonists and the story. I selected "elanorelle" as my Yahoo user name and "Elanor Gardner" as my full name and my LJ name because I loved the exchange between Elanor and her father in HOME Vol. 9 - Sauron Defeated -- the way he called her "Elanorelle" and the way she yearned to hear more and more of the tale and more about Frodo and how she understood that Frodo was her father's "treasure". And besides, I have this Red Book that has been passed down through generations of my family....
