What special abilities (think superheroes/genetically engineered) would be useful to have for people who hunt vampires? And let's ignore the myth about vampires fearing crosses, mirrors, garlic and the like... ;)

One ability I thought of was being able to throw fire(balls) with your hands, for example. You know, to incinerate those bloodsucking bastards.

Agree, perhaps being able to literally shine or go 'supernova' so to speak would be a good assit against vamps.

Or as you said, the ability to be a pyrokenetic and set them on fire at will.

Not many useful powers no. Unless of course a person could materalise an endless supply of wooden stakes and have telekenetic abilities to launch them accurately at a vamps heart lol

We've just been talking about it on e-mail. ;) Think male instead of female, and vampire hunters instead of witches. :D Actually, DUH... doesn't have to be only vampires they hunt - could be Shadow creatures in general!

Kidnapper used to have three "brothers", they were manipulated by the Vorlons, like the four sisters, and while the other three are gone, I need to define their abilities (which I've pushed ahead of me all this time). No vampires in this story except for dark hints from kidnapper, but they will appear in the two follow-up stories I have in mind... :)
