Yeah, it really was long overdue that I turned this picture into an icon. Having rewatched both Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick over the weekend (plus finally Find Me Guilty; not as much with the sexy there but Vin was really funny and cute) and (re-)reading some Riddick fan fic - oh and last but not least a certain Babylon A.D. promo pic - seems to have put me in the right mood to finally do it. I could just as well have made it an "Arm Fetish" icon, 'cause yeah... niiiiiice! I'm not usually into the bodybuilder type, but Vin just has a certain elegance and a surprising agility about him, paired with a certain sense of gentleness. That gravelly voice certainly doesn't hurt either...

*cough*

I'll shut up now - don't worry, I'm sure I'll calm down again soon. At least until I've seen Babylon A.D.... ;)

Ahh, yay for the Vin love! Did you re-read 'Apprentice'? Good times. :) Now if only they made a 3rd Riddick movie - *with* Vaako in it. Too bad they killed off Jack, though. Maybe they could bring her back?

Only a few tidbits - I did reread "Only the Strong" though (Riddick/Vaako). Yeah, they couldn't make a third Riddick movie without Vaako!!! As for Jack/Kyra - in the CoR Director's Cut commentary, David Twohy does hint that she might be brought back in future films. Eeeh!

Looks like we'll both need to catch Babylon AD, although for different reasons. Vin Diesel is not my thing (not that I've really seen much of him), but Mark Strong and Lambert Wilson should keep me entertained, I hope.
