Having been the smallest and weakest in a class that had a notorious pack of guys, and that with a (female) first and second grade teacher who favoured boys and thus hardly ever stepped in, I know how it feels to be on the receiving end...

I could have used a friend like this back then...

PS: It just needs to be said that I owe many thanks to my later teachers though!
