Why would an mpg file which I recorded through my TV tuner box in 4:3 (and from a 4:3 source), be played in 16:9 on Winamp and Quicktime, but correctly in 4:3 on WMP and RealPlayer?
Then again I shouldn't be surprised. After all, that same TV tuner's software also stretches any and all screen caps I take to a format of 720x576 pixels... even if the source and screen aspect ratios are 16:9, not 4:3.
*sigh*
I guess I should take out the old TV card from my old computer and install it in the new one.
