ourdramaqueen: (lij lose myself in you)
Seriously. The whole of last week I just was in that sleeping lightly - waking up - falling asleep again rhythm most of the night, then it slowly got better, though I never managed to sleep through. The nights from 23rd/24th on I only got enough sleep (barely) because I was able to stay in bed until noon-ish. And the last two nights I was wide awake until something like 4am. Which means I slept three hours at best last night, what with having to come to work again today. Thank goodness I only have three work days again this week, then another four-day weekend... and hopefully I'll finally be able to get back into a 'normal' sleep rhythm after New Year's!

If not and this goes on much longer, I'll soon be able to tell Dom just how realistic An Insomniac's Nightmare is...

On the plus side, I finally got some writing done last night on something which had been in my mind for far too long already. Of course it's only the start of something loooooong and erm, rather intimidating. But I have resolved to do this on my own, no running to my writing partners in crime for help this time. I think I really worked out the big kinks (took me long enough), and for the most intimidating parts, I know someone I can turn to for professional advice/criticism. Poor thing... ;-)

And no, this is nothing LOTR related whatsoever. Erm well, the sequel may be, sort of, hee hee. But no doubt it will be a long time until that one will see the light of day.

Isn't it time for coffee break yet?!

I love their music, but ironically only own the CD single of "More". Now I was wondering about one of their songs: "Cry Little Sister". The only version I know is the one by Gerard McMann, from the soundtrack of The Lost Boys. Now I saw it listed in lyrics collections for the Sisters a lot, but it doesn't seem to have been on any of their albums. Anyone know more about that? Was it on a compilation? Did they cover the song from the Lost Boys soundtrack or is theirs the original version? Or do you at least know if I can listen to (part of) it online? I'm very curious how their version sounds!

And do they even exist anymore? Haven't heard from them in ages...
