"Run. Run for the Stronghold, Thunderheart. Run."

I've lost count of how many times I've seen Thunderheart, but I just can't seem to get tired of that film. Not the least, probably, because I know that 16 years later things still aren't much better for most American Indians. There are initiatives and programs to raise awareness of and pride in their heritage and traditions again, particularly with children, and to improve their economic and social situation. But it's still a very long and bumpy road to go.
