TV catchup
Aug. 9th, 2013 09:48 pmFinally started watching To the Ends of the Earth starring Benedict Cumberbatch, and while I knew Sam Neill and Tom HiddlestonJJ Feilds were in it, I was tickled to discover among the crew members of the ship one of the actors from The Last Enemy. I don't know his name (and am too lazy to look him up), but he played Yasim's friend, the skinny bloke who was in the apartment below the Ezards' at the start of it.
We're also slowly catching up on Battlestar Galactica on Netflix (well I am, hubbie has seen it already so it's a rewatch for him), and today was Mark Sheppard's first guest starring episode! Great character, can't wait to see more of him! I'm enjoying the series a lot.
Previously, we watched Burn Notice (omg please add the next season soon, after that cliffhanger!), Copper (for which they just added new episodes, so that'll be next after we wrap up BG), The Shield, and Hell on Wheels, among others. I can recommend all of them. Oh and from the category of sadly cancelled shows, Reaper - it's funny, and Ray Wise clearly relished playing the Devil. :D
Now we need to get Season 2 of Game of Thrones on Blu-ray!
