Wanted: dedicated hosting recommendations!

Do any of you have recommendations for a dedicated server host that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Preferrably easy to set up and maintain for dedicated hosting newbies. :)

Hey hello - totally off-topic, and please ignore me if this is weird, but... I saw you at D_E's new Ring*Con comm and thought "I see you(r comments) all over the place, I always like what I see, our f-lists show so many mutual friends, why did we never meet?"

I guess my question is - would you mind getting to know each other/friending? Apart from the mutual friends, I'm thinking we could have some stuff in common? *cough*Elijah*cough*

Oh the one with the huge eyes, always the dear-caught-in-the-headlights and the perpetual frown saying "Oh Sam" or something of the kind? Yes - it's coming back to me now. Lovely guy, nice blue eyes.
