ourdramaqueenI love "Out of Gas". OK there's not a single episode of Firefly that I don't like, but this one is among my favourites. Not only do we learn how the original crew got together (and some of these flashbacks are so funny), but some scenes are just so touching:
"It's just... it was my birthday."
Kaylee sitting in the engine room all distraught...
The shuttles flying off in separate directions and Mal walking through the ship closing all the doors behind him...
"Y'all gonna be here when I wake up?"
And of course the moment when Mal first lays eyes on Serenity...
*nostalgic sigh*
Right. I need to get off to bed.
