FotR live in the UK and the US

ourdramaqueenFor those of you in the UK and the US who'd like to see Fellowship of the Ring performed live to the film being shown on the big screen, there will be performances at the London Royal Albert Hall in mid April and at the New York Radio City Music Hall in October. Both are performed by regional Choirs together with the orchestra and conductor who originally performed in Lucerne, Switzerland: the 21st Century Orchestra and Ludwig Wicki. Do go listen to it, it's a unique experience!
Oh and Doug Adams, author of booklets in the Complete Recordings of the three LotR soundtracks and the upcoming "The Music of the LotR films" book, posted a Youtube clip on his blog of some moments from one of the Lucerne performances - not the concert itself, but you can see the (very impressive) venue there and also the reaction of the crowd, and a bit from the signing after the concert.
