So... some of you may remember that a while ago, I mentioned a Sin City/Kevin plot bunny that had bitten me? Well the little bugger wouldn't let go of me, so I finally had no choice left but to write the story... And here is the result. I've posted it at my website, and before you follow the link, be warned that this is a sick little story, rated R and it contains het - sorry all you slashers out there. ;) I hope you'll enjoy it, of course, *gulp* but constructive feedback of any kind is welcome!

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] elanor_gardner for help with a certain quote, and BIG HUGS to [livejournal.com profile] ismenin and [livejournal.com profile] ladysunrope for betaing, suggestions and encouragement!!!

And for those who are interested, here's my writing soundtrack. Some of these songs may seem bizarre in light of the story's nature, but I can assure you there's a reason behind every choice. :) I'm sorry I don't have YSI links or anything like that, but I've linked to the Amazon page for the albums you can find the songs on, and they often have soundbites to listen to.

Hey, Queenie, I came and read and am awed and blown away, hon. Beautiful fic. I would have said nobody could write Kevin and a girl and made it believable, but damn if you didn't do it, and you did it good. The way they met made it believable that he would keep her instead of killing her, and the things they shared in their pasts made them soul mates of a very tragic kind. His fear of connection was perfect and so sad, and his bringing her home in a way that made it impossible for her to find him again. . .ah, there's so much to this fic that I just love, not least of which was the angelic, haunting voice that sang to her. Thank you so much for pointing me to it and for writing it. Mews

Well, as I thought I was just supposed to be reading it and I didn't make any beta suggestions cos LSR was doing that in her inimitabl great fashion, I feel I may comment.

This story is one of the best - if not THE best - things have read in any Lij fandom of late. The story is tightly written, toataaly believable, moving and HAWT. I want you to do more, my sweet, cos I loved it.

Aaaaaah stop it!!! *is bright red* It's all HIS fault, he wouldn't stop whispering and suggesting things to me! *points to icon*

Yes, LSR's suggestions are always SO spot on! Your feedback was good incentive too! :D

As for more - well you know I have the ideas. Not sure when I'll get to write them down as I have some other stuff I really need to get done, but... I will, eventually. It will only get weirder from here on!

That was a fantastic read ODQ. I enjoyed it so much, and love the way you put it together. Thanks for sharing it with us. I like to know why Kevin did what he did. hint hint :)

Were you a player in the London Hooligans Role Play Game?

WTG ODQ, I love the character Hannah.

I read it a few months ago. It's brilliantly played and I absolutely loved it.

I wondered who played Sean too. Whoever it was deserves a medal. That character drove me nuts, I swear! It was sooo painful reading him (that was meant to be a compliment btw) He was a tad too needy for my personal taste. *shudders*

Some unfinished business there...

Aww thank you! *hugs* She's great fun, very much like her brother - a bit too much for his comfort, hee hee. ;)

Sean was played by [livejournal.com profile] ink_gypsy - and yes, he's a very nice young man but sometimes you just want to shake him! :)

Hmm yes, it would be interesting to get Kevin's POV, wouldn't it? ;)

Yup, I see LSR already "outed" me. :) How did you know?

sorry love, hope that didn't bother you...delete the comment if you want. I'm sad to see it go (I loved my character)but too many characters moved on..would love to fictionalize it though especially as Dom's story was unfinished.

I was scratching my head going "what quote?" I just saw Sin City yesterday. Waited for the DVD. And I thought, I couldn't have given her a quote...

Then I remembered -- The Princess Bride!!! My old worn out, red-lettered version of the paperback that I treasure! heh

But heavens, that did not deserve such a big thank you!! However, I will be gracious and say you are welcome!

I am looking forward to reading the story as soon as my printer is fixed! I still have three [livejournal.com profile] hobbit_smut stories to read and some to beta as soon as my printer is fixed, but I WILL read it! (I am one of those sad people who can't read stories online...)

Thanks for the very gracious but unnecessary thank you!

LOL well it was important and I could just not find it! So you were my saviour. :D

Eeeeeeh hope you'll like it! ANd I must say I can read stories on the computer, but over the past few months I've come to not like to watch DVDs/VCDs on it anymore, for some reason.
