Attention Tolkien fans in the New York City area! We are excited to announce that TheOneRing.net will be hosting an exclusive, private party in NYC on Friday October 14th, during the New York Comic-Con. Tickets for the event will go on sale in a couple of weeks; meanwhile, save the date and we hope you can join us in New York! Will have to see if I should/can go, once there is more info - though the tentatively planned Sherlock fan meetup will probably be on Friday too. Of course if this is only a party, I'm less interested than if they have some Hobbit panel or such as part of the event. We'll see. :)
ETA: OMG Mark Hamill is among the guests at NYCC! And Jewel Staite, though of course I got her autograph several times already. I have Mark's too - a gift from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
serenitysangel and the Queen of Evil, if I remember correctly :) - but it is always nice to get one in person. Ah, we'll see how things work out. Would be nice, but it's not a biggie if I don't get to go.
