It's a lovely spring day again here, though a little cooler than yesterday. I hope those of you who got snow out of the blue will soon be rid of it again!


I have a little offering for mews1945, inspired by her wonderful story "Of A Hobbit And A King", which I recently reread. The end predictably had me in tears again, and more importantly, inspired my muse. Mews, I hope you'll like this illustration, even though it comes nowhere near to the beauty of your story!

I love 3 & 4. When I went to NZ, I called my album of photos 'There and back Again'. It has such a wonderful feel of homeliness and nostalgia about it.
