Yup, still hate clothes shopping

In other words, I went around about half a dozen shops, including Macys, H&M, and JC Penney, but I still don't have a new winter coat. What I have instead is the urge to bang my head against a wall repeatedly.

*frustrated sigh*

What are you looking for in the way of a coat? Maybe try looking online first, and then once you find something that looks good, go to the store.

I sometimes find that the first time I go out to shop for something, I just have to get used to what's out there. Later I find what I want. But another thing I've noticed is that it's when I'm NOT looking that I find something I really want. lol.

I tried that too, with underwhelming results. One problem is that I mostly have to concentrate on the Petite section - which narrows down choices considerably. In theory a regular size 4 would suit me too, but mostly the arms reach my fingertips, or there's some other mismatch! :(

I'll let it rest for a couple of weeks and then try again.

I'm sure they have something perfect somewhere - the only problem is finding it! :D My size doesn't help, as it limits my choices considerably. I've seen several coats that I would have bought, but they were too large. *sigh*

Are you an extreme size? I am petite, too, and mostly find that coats are too big! (BUT that being said, I LIKE them too big because I am so cold easily)

Yes, went to Macys and other stores in the area, but nothing. :( Well there was one that I was seriously considering, but I did another round of the shop and when I came back, the only one in my size was gone. Stupid, I should have carried it with me!

Will have to let it rest for a bit and then go out again. They may get new deliveries, or I will see something that I've overlooked. I will also have to try some other shops. I just can't go around shops for too long at one time, particularly when I can't find what I'm looking for!

At least I got new boots last winter, and they're still in great condition!

Being Petite sized doesn't help - much less choice than for regular sized people!

That doesn't apply to me, I just don't think I look good in anything so hate trying stuff on :-/
