STID Superbowl trailer and review

Jeremy Jahns, who did a review of the Star Trek Into Darkness teaser trailer (see my earlier post about it), now did another review of the Superbowl trailer. He's still a total Benedict Cumberbatch fanboy and admits that "it's almost mancrush-ish at this point", hee.

Also, thanks to caias installing the official STID app on his Android phone (since I don't have a smartphone), we got tickets for one of the preview screenings on May 15th (i.e. two days before the official cinema opening date) of the film! Can't wait! *bounce*

I'm more excited about this than I was about the Hobbit! Finally got to see the Hobbit -omg now I'd like to see Richard Armitage and Benedict Comberbatch in the same film together. The two of them on screen at the same time? I would combust!

LOL! I liked him a lot as Thorin, but still not part of the Richard Armitage fangirl society. Then of course this is the only thing I've actually seen him in - I refuse to watch that abomination of Robin Hood. But you know, this is the way I feel about possibly/probably seeing Benedict and Karl Urban together on screen in Star Trek Into Darkness...

So what did you think about The Hobbit? I was very excited about it and am SO happy I got to see the HFR 3D version, the one time we were able to go! But I'd say I'm about equally excited about this film, thanks to Benedict and the kind of role he gets to play.
