February 2: WHITE NOISE sequel to bypass U.S. theaters

Fango got the word from a source who should know that WHITE NOISE: THE LIGHT, the sequel to the surprise-hit paranormal thriller of a couple of winters back, will be going straight to DVD in the U.S., bypassing initially planned theatrical play via Rogue Pictures. Universal Home Entertainment will release the disc, but no street date or supplemental details have yet been announced; we’ll keep you posted. The new WHITE NOISE, directed by Patrick (DRACULA 2000) Lussier from a Matt (PELTS) Venne script and starring SLiTHER’s Nathan Fillion as a man who is brought back from the brink of death with the ability to foresee who among the living will soon die, did make it to big screens in Britain last month (poster pictured here); click here to see the movie’s UK website. —Michael Gingold

Guess the UK got lucky this time! But at least it will be released on DVD.

Also, Dom's next film I Sell the Dead doesn't only have me excited because OMG new Dom!, but also because it features Ron Perlman and... Larry Fessenden! Who wrote and directed Wendigo with one of my long-time harem members, Jake Weber, and I also have Larry's previous two films in his "trilogy of horror" on DVD, No Telling and Habit, which I liked a lot. *should really watch all three again* Larry is a quirky guy, and I can imagine him and Dom play off each other well! Fangoria talked to Larry about the film:

Can't wait to hear and see more about this! I shall have to keep an eye on Larry's website too.
