They were talking about what makes a good James Bond on the radio today, which led to the latest Bond-girls talking about Mr. Whatshisname's kissing technique, which they praised quite elaborately. And of course all I could think was, "Hmmm, Sean Maher as James Bond...?" :) Blame it on all the Firefly fan fic I read over the weekend. For some reason I hadn't really gone look for it before, but now I stumbled into [livejournal.com profile] talkcrazy (Dominant Simon... *whimper*) and the Firefly's Glow Archive, where most of the NC-17 stories seem to involve Simon in some way (Well no wonder, I mean hello, Mr. Sean "The Bod" Maher?! *drools*), though surprisingly few are Simon/Kaylee, instead mostly Simon/Mal or Simon/Jayne, or even Simon/Mal/Jayne (and yes, some Simon/River thrown in for good measure).

Minor earthquake yesterday. Err, make that earthquakeS - we had three, same epicenter at a nearby mountain pass. One in the early afternoon, two withing minutes of each other shortly after 10pm, though I only noticed one of those. Nothing big at all, just a slight trembling/shaking and grinding noise. The strongest one, in the evening, apparently had a magnitude of 3.0. Heh, I didn't even check if any of my action figures fell over - some have a tendency to do that.

I'm feeling oh so productive. NOT. Woke up after 6am this morning, having to get up at 6:55. Quite an improvement over previous nights, when I'd wake up something like after 3am and then only sleep fitfully until the alarm went off. Will have to remember to take my homeopathic remedy again tonight. I seem to get these phases more and more often, bleh.

It's sunny again, after a very dreary Monday and Tuesday morning. Thank goodness - sleep deprivation and dreary weather are not a good combination for me!

Right, back to work... *sighs as she notices the time*

I can empathise with the dreary weather. Yesterday was sunny and bright but today it's heaving down with rain yet again. I don't think the ground will take much more as it's sodden already. Earthquakes are weird. We had one here in the centre of England a few years back and it felt as though the ground sudden went from under your feet! Did you get a warning rumble first because we did. It was only a very slight quake and it did not do any damage around us but I wouldn't like to be caught up in a major quake.

Hmm not sure which I noticed first, the rumble or the slight shaking. Yes, I certainly wouldn't like to live in an area prone for strong Earthquakes! *shudder*
