So, about Celeb Events...

I had forgotten that foxykc had posted about this on her LJ a couple of weeks ago - they had asked if they could advertise on the Lost-TV Forum. And it seems Celeb Events was formerly known as Jealous Events and has a bad rep, and was even cited negatively on a British consumer TV show. See details here.

If they are the people what ran the Angel "convention" in Brighton a few years back - (and I think they were as Jealous events) - seriously AVOID like the plague. Although I didn't go I know people that did and I know people that lost a lot of money and were VERY unhappy.

Yup, seems that's the ones! I'm trying to find comments on the Charmed event from September, but only seem to find forum threads that were made before it (all with the same person, Jo, ranting about Celeb Events). I want information about a recent event - who knows, they may have learned...

Hmmm...I guess it would be to find out if they have held any events since the watchdog program and how those went. If this is the first event since that show, I honestly my ownself wouldn't take the risk.

There's one Charmed event they held in September, which I know about, but I can't seem to find any posts about it from after, only from before! *frustrated sigh*
