Got the Unrated Director's Cut of The Chronicles of Riddick today. Some nice additional/extended scenes. In regard to Karl Urban's Lord Vaako, there's one in particular featuring him and his wife, Dame Vaako (Thandie Newton), that was extended quite significantly, and oooh am I grateful they did! *fans self* Talk about a fucked-up, kinky relationship! The commentary with writer/director David Twohy, actress Alexa Davalos and Karl is also enjoyable. Not quite sure how much I like that whole Furyan storyline, which of course was extended significantly in this cut. I guess it would remain to be seen how they develop it in the two follow-up films that Twohy and Vin Diesel wanted to make... but I have no idea what the status is on those!


Also, a meme! Gee, why doesn't the result surprise me...? ;)

I am too ashamed that I only landed up in Purgatory. I did answer truthfully, too. I was hoping for ingress into something a little more exciting - but there we go! I hope you have company in your level - no-one else I have seen is in mine. A lonely Afterlif! ;( xxx
