Just caught part of Senator Edward Kennedy's speech at the American University in Washington, in support of Barack Obama, and Obama's reaction speech. That's quite an endorsement, to have the Kennedy clan behind him!


Totally unrelated - I love my dentist. Had my annual checkup today (though last year's didn't take place due to scheduling issues), and it was confirmed once again that he never suggests to do anything unless it is really necessary. And we noticed, while chatting, that my fist appointment with im was 20 years ago! I knew it was still back in school (towards the end), but gosh, I'd never thought about the numbers. o_O


Last but not least - happy 27th birthday to our favourite gorgeous blue-eyed young man, Elijah Wood! May the coming year be full of success, health, love and happiness!

I was surprised to hear about his endorsement, but pleased. It's becoming clearer and clearer to me that Obama has to be the nominee. Hillary is just way too divisive, and now that she and Bill seem to be running as "The Clintons," it just feels too much like going backwards rather than forwards.

I was a bit surprised that Kennedy backed Obama. I heard somewhere today that not all the Kennedy's are backing him, but I don't know who they are.
