Children's Monologues report

_doodle's report of our fabulous encounter with Benedict Cumberbatch at The Children's Monologues afterparty! :) I spent most of the time listening to their conversation, but was perfectly happy with that - after all it's not every day you get to look at such a gorgeous man and listen to his equally/even more gorgeous voice for such a length of time! (As several of us agreed at the meetup, we'd happily listen to him reading out the phone book!) Of course I'm now paying for having stood outside in the cold with having a slight cold, but as long as it won't get any worse than it is now, I'm happy.
One little additional thing I remember Benedict saying about his Monologue was that "It's a bit like doing a phone conversation" in that he had to imagine the other person and their dialogue.
I'd really like to find out where and when those "social pages" appear that we were photographed for! We think the photographer picked us because we were among the most dressed up people there! :)
