If you're interested in more pics from the recent charity performance of Ian McKellen, with the support of most of the main Hobbit cast, go here: McKellen and friends at the Opera House

For those wanting to join TORn for their Hobbit premiere tour: TORn’s own tour to New Zealand for “The Hobbit” premiere is now open for business, and also read this Quick update to the TORn Hobbit Premiere story

Primary filming for The Hobbit is nearly done?

Aaaand last but very much not least - lucky those who get to go to SD Comic Con! Obviously TORn will be there - The Comic con blitz from TORn has begun - but also some very familiar (or soon to be so) faces: ‘Hobbit’ lineup announced for Comic-Con includes Jackson, McKellen, Serkis, Armitage, Freeman, Boyens!!!
And if that's not enough reason to envy SDCC goers, this Hobbit-unrelated announcement will do it - certainly for fellow Browncoats: Entire Firefly Cast Will Reunite At Comic-Con For The Show’s 10-Year Anniversary. "The cast of FIREFLY will talk about the past, present and future of FIREFLY, 10 years after its debut. " Um, FUTURE?! I mean, there have been comics, but... could it be, after Joss' success with Avengers?! I don't dare hope...

Just quickly before I jump into the bath to warm up, and from there (once I dried off, obviously) into bed: Death at a Funeral is HILARIOUS!!! We were laughing so hard! Alan was... *dissolves into giggles* Nice tush too! ;D Oh and I didn't know/remember that Rupert Graves was in it too! Really, all around FUNNY movie - I shall have to add the DVD to my Amazon Wishlist...

Night night!!!

Damn I don't have a Wash icon (anymore)! Oh well, this one will have to do!

That sounds quite accurate!

Will go see Death at a Funeral - yay Alan Tudyk - at the Open Air Cinema in our park tonight, with my ex office mate. I just hope that the few raindrops we had about an hour ago were it for the day... it would be best if we can find seats in the covered part of the stalls, but in case not, I'll take my umbrella, and maybe my transparent plastic rain overthingie. And obviously I'll dress warm - it's been more rainy than sunny lately, with a cool wind, so temperatures aren't very summer-like. Still have to eat - I had a little something but not enough to keep me until after the film!

Have a lovely day/evening, everyone! :D

Our craptastic cinema shows a film in English!!! Death at a Funeral is on Thursday through Sunday, and I might just have to go watch it in support of one of the BDHs*: Alan Tudyk. I've seen the trailer and it looked quite funny - Alan certainly will be, at the very least! :D

*Big Damn Heroes, for the poor uninitiated among us. Go rent/buy Firefly and/or Serenity!!! ;)

[livejournal.com profile] greenie_breizh has posted her photos from Creation's Serenity Salute convention last weekend in LA at her photo LJ, [livejournal.com profile] holdlifestill. Guests were Nathan Fillion, Sean Maher, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau, Morena Baccarin and Yan Feldman, and the pictures came out great! Don't miss the links to her full Photobucket galleries at the end of each entry. :D
