The Reclaiming the Blade trailer features quite a few LotR alumni like Richard Taylor, Viggo Mortensen, Karl Urban and John Rhys-Davies omgicantwaitforthefinisheddocumentary; there's yet more on MTV News from Guillermo del Toro, regarding The Hobbit casting and creatures (including video); and for those of you in the UK who'd like to go see The Fellowship of the Ring performed live to the film, check out the official website of the London Philharmonic Orchestra for tickets from this coming Friday, 17th October on!

Well, finally forced myself to finish Robin of Sherwood season 3. Sorry, the end still sucks, and while Jason's Robert/Robin was good, he just won't ever be as dear to my heart as Michael's Robin. *sigh* So after that I just had to go back to "Robin Hood and the Sorcerer" (the pilot), and now I'm debating whether I should re-watch all Michael episodes, or skip directly to "The Greatest Enemy". Decisions, decisions...

Speaking of RoS, I must dig out my photos from the Silver Arrow 2003 convention in Bristol, and post the few that are okay quality on my gallery... and yes, I am working on the Sunday RingCon pics. :)

This weekend was supposed to be catchup weekend for various things - like typing up at least part of my RingCon report and posting the rest of the pictures and the video clips. But apparently my neck had other plans. I just hope it won't get as bad anymore as it was this morning, when I could hardly turn around in bed or get up. You never realise just how much you use those neck/shoulder muscles for almost every move until they're hurting! After my sister's Bowtech treatment at least the shoulder muscles relaxed again, but right at the neck (along the cervical vertebrae) they're still incredibly tight, particularly at the bottom, and I have to be careful when moving my head. So I guess it'll be off to the doc's tomorrow to see what he says... *sigh*

Well at least I finally continued watching S3 of Robin of Sherwood. Only three more episodes to go. *sniffsigh*

For those interested - John Barrowman will be at Collectormania 13 (2-5 May 2008, Milton Keynes): guest and photoshoot announcements.

And Captain John A.K.A. James Marsters will be there too! :)

Now this is very cool, but the guest that REALLY makes me want to go (and not only because I was lucky enough to already have met John) is Mark Ryan, who played Nasir in Robin of Sherwood!!! He's not as sexy as he used to be back then, but omg NASIR!!! *whimper* I've met my other two favourites from the series, Michael Praed (Robin) and Judi Trott (Marion) along with several others at the "Legend" convention in Bristol, back in 2003, but Mark wasn't among them.

Hand-wringing about possibility to go or not put behind a cut to spare my poor flist )

Ack!!! Will have to think about it...

Oooh!

Arte is showing a Terra X episode (didn't even know that documentary series still exists) about the historic Assassins (Hashshashin), of which Robin of Sherwood's Nasir used to be a member. And they're featuring Farhad Daftary - I have one of his books on the subject.
